For Ski Olympic La Rosiere is where it all began. We fell in love with this pretty French resort 19 years ago and bought our first chalet there, Quatre Saisons. Since then many others have been seduced by the resort’s authentic charm and La Rosiere has become a firm favourite for Ski Olympic guests.
So what is it about this delightful resort that we, and so many of our clients like so much? Well, maybe it’s the friendliness shown to us by the local people. Perhaps it’s that La Rosiere has huge quantities of snow, equal amounts of sunny days, and lots of lovely, wide pistes on which to enjoy them. Certainly families are well looked after, with a superb crèche and a very user friendly children’s club. Whatever it is about La Rosiere, once discovered it is never forgotten.
The village itself rests on a sunny plateau at 1850m, high on the Petit St Bernard pass into Italy. Our Chalethotel Le Roc Noir and Chalet Oliver are well situated at the foot of the slopes and close to the village centre’s many shops, restaurants and bars. Just below this, nestled among the pine trees in the old part of the village, lie the more traditional chalets, including our own, Quatre Saisons and Mamiray. Our brand new chalets, Grand and Petit Planica, sit just below the nursery slopes.
