Ski Equipment Hire

We now have our own in-house ski hire service in the majority of our resorts. With the exception of our chalets in Meribel, the rest of our units offer this service, or there is one that does in close proximity.

This unique service means that a Ski Olympic Technician will be available when you first arrive to fit you with the right equipment to ensure you have the best possible week’s skiing. They will then be on hand throughout the week to offer advice and make any necessary changes so you continue to get the most out of your equipment.

In chalets where Ski Olympic equipment hire is not offered, our staff will be happy to advise and accompany you to the best local shops. If you have your own skis, our technician can service them at your convenience. For ski hire by resort, please see the back page of this brochure.

Ski Olympic equipment is regularly renewed to keep up with the rapid advances in technology and design. For the past four seasons, we have invested heavily in our skis and boots, which are all supplied by top manufacturers Salomon and Dynastar. Our skis are all shaped (i.e. “carvers”) to make edge control and turning easier, and our boots are designed to be both comfortable and responsive all day.

We have a Standard range for beginner skiers and a Premier range for intermediate and advanced skiers. Our Standard skis are ideal for those first few tentative steps on snow, and our Premier range are chosen specifically to increase confidence and help improve technique without limiting even advanced skiers, and are versatile enough to work well in all conditions. Those looking to hire specialised race, freestyle, backcountry skis or snowboards can be advised by our staff as to the best local shops once in resort.
