| Beginner skiers generally meet their instructor in the centre of the resort at the Chaudanne before quickly progressing to the ideal nursery slopes around the Altiport and Rond Pont to experience the wide gentle pistes. |
| Meribel is excellent for intermediate skiers with plenty of blue and red runs to explore. As it is in the heart of the Three Valleys region it has easy links to the adjoining valleys so you can ski the 200km of outstanding runs descending from a height of just below 3000 metres. |
| For advanced skiers, Meribel’s Mont Vallon telecabine is the first step to finding challenging on and off-piste terrain. Neighbouring Val Thorens offers further superb on and off-piste skiing with higher altitudes and access to Maurienne, the infamous fourth valley. |
| Meribel is a great resort for snowboarders with well groomed pistes for beginners to challenging off-piste for the more experienced rider. There is also a snowpark for those of a more adventurous disposition. |
