Chalethotel Gelinotte was added to our programme in 2004 and proved to be an instant success, nestled amongst the pine trees overlooking the centre of Val d’Isere. The free resort shuttle bus stop is a few minutes away, and the centre of the village is a 5 minute walk.

With the nearest lift being a 10 minute walk in ski boots, we operate a free minibus shuttle for an hour every morning and afternoon to help you get on and off the mountain even more conveniently.

Inside, the Gelinotte has been very recently renovated and the atmosphere is one of warmth, with pieces of antique furniture complimenting the use of local pine and soft fabrics. The intimate feel of a smaller chalet is created with a split-level dining room and several cosy lounges. There is a charming public bar with an open log fire and a sauna in which to relax after a day on the slopes.

There has been more work done to the Gelinotte this summer, including the addition of two triple rooms on the top floor and a new lounge. We are excited to be back in Val d’Isere with this excellent property, and it is shaping up to become a firm favourite among our clients.
