Vallandry is one of six separate villages making up Les Arcs, linked in 2004 with La Plagne to form Paradiski, one of the biggest resorts in the world. The Vanoise Express, the fantastic double decker cable car linking the two resorts, is conveniently only one chairlift away from our superbly positioned Chalethotel La Foret.
With the massive diversity of skiing on offer and the charming ambience of Vallandry village, one of the most carefully developed resort villages in France, this fantastic ski area has become a firm favourite with our guests.

| One of the most popular activities in the resort is Husky sleigh rides, but for a slightly faster ride there is also the option of a visit to nearby La Plagne and a descent on the Olympic Bobsleigh track |

| Vallandry and Les Arcs boast plenty of nursery slopes and there are several excellent ski school choices available for our guests. The long gentle run returning to our Chalethotel La Foret is the perfect end to the day for those beginners wishing to stretch their legs. |
| There are seemingly endless wide, confidenceinspiring blues and reds on which to practice your carving, and the long tree lined runs around Vallandry offer spectacular views and yet more terrain to cover. |
| The challenging descent from the Aguille Rouge to Villaroger in the form of a 7km black run which descends over 2000m is the longest in Europe. There are off-piste choices to suit all tastes and if that wasn’t enough there is the “Flying Kilometre” speed skiing course. |
| Les Arcs bills itself as the resort that brought snowboarding to Europe. Riders are spoilt for choice, from terrain parks to powder and cruising the pistes. An entertaining week is guaranteed. |
